The Road Not Taken

Really strong kid with ponytail falls down dead after robbery, displaying hemorrhages at each temple. Since the kid is, of course, an old friend of Richie, the death must be suspicious and Duncan and Richie investigate. In cool flashback with Duncan visiting the holy ground sanctuary of his friend Kiem Sun, we see others dying in similar fashion, after being displayed as guinea pigs for Kiem Sun's mind control drug. [Duncan looks totally rad in this flashback] [absolutely toothsome] [yummy, you might say]

Back in modern times, Duncan confronts Kiem Sun [now living in Seacouver and still trying to develop a mind control drug that won't kill its victim]. But Kiem Sun has lost control of the drug to one of his loyal henchmen who is branching out into mind control hisownself. Kiem Sun kills the henchman. He and Duncan battle, but Duncan [mindful of a promise to protect Kiem Sun] lets Kiem Sun off the hook, warning that it's the last break he'll grant him. Mac destroys the last bits of the evil drug, breaking Kiem Sun's heart.

Questions:

1. Didn't Duncan look awesome in that outfit in the flashback?

2. Was it inevitable that the kid with the ponytail would be a friend of Richie, or did you [not] expect it?

3. Name how many times you personally have seen the old "You've not seen me fight my best because I'm NOT left-handed" trick. Extra credit for knowing how many fingers the villain in The Princess Bride had.

4. Would you have liked Duncan to use the mind control drug on Richie just for grins?

5. Wouldn't Angie have made an excellent Immortal?
