Amanda returns. Yes, she does, and she's gone straight. Honest as the day is long, and who believes that? Not those FBI guys keeping an eye on her. They're on the lookout for those counterfeit plates Amanda has in her possession. Why does she have counterfeit plates in her possession? Well, a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do, and counterfeiting isn't *really* stealing, is it? Especially if you can find an engraver to modify the dates a bit on those pre-war plates.
If there's anyone crookeder than Our Amanda, it's FBI agent Palance, who thinks the counterfeiting business is a fine business to go into. He's also into the frame game, and sets up Amanda and Duncan to take the fall for the murder of his partner. Unfortunately for FBI agent Palance, he's dealing with Immortals Who Have a Video Camera. When Palance murders them on camera, the tables are turned and Palance doesn't fare very well.
Questions:
1. Can Amanda sing?
2. Does Duncan actually, truly and really believe a single word Amanda ever says about anything on any occasion throughout the course of history? If so, why?
3. Rank Duncan's hair in this episode on a sliding scale of 1 - 10, 10 being wow-wow-wow and 1 being the Disco Duncan wig.
4. Palance is another example of a bad cop. Highlander is just full of bad cops, and Duncan doesn't seem to like cops very much. Is this a fine example of characterization or a reflection of the producers' true opinion of law enforcement?
5. If Melanie Griffith played Amanda, who would play Duncan MacLeod?
