An alternate universe Methos was lying in bed one night, listening to the rain pound on his leaky roof. The wind came up strong and knocked a sycamore tree up the street over and onto the power lines. Methos' electricity went out immediately and, of course, the air conditioner stopped. The house got really stuffy so Methos opened up the windows to the weather and was immediately struck by lightning right through his bedroom window. He died for a while, enjoying the experience as much as possible, then came back to life.

Should Methos be able to power his window air conditioning unit by mere physical contact until the power company gets around to clearing up the sycamore tree and the downed power lines? Or should he fetch an unsuspecting Immortal, behead him and give the power of the Quickening to the air conditioning unit? [Assume that powering the air conditioning unit is very important because it's way hot outside.]
